Work under the supervision of the Shift Manager to assist the Machine Operators to maximise the output of the department.
Main Duties
- Ensure dirty equipment from the Lamination machines is processed and cleaned through the appropriate procedures.
- Ensure sufficient clean equipment is available for the machines in line with the production plan
- Assist the Lamination Operators with machine set up where needed to minimise job changeover times across the department
- Ensure the work area is kept safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Assist the Lamination Operator with material movements and reel changeovers to minimise downtime between reel changes across the department
- Cover Lamination Operator shift breaks across the department to facilitate continuous running where practicably possible
Person Specification
- Experience of manufacturing environment desirable
- Knowledge of lamination or associated processes desirable
- FLT license desirable but not essential
- Well organised
- Self-motivated/self-starter.
- Positive approach.
- Hands on approach.

- Flexible and willing to learn
Hours of work
Three-week rotating shift system.
Day shift 6.00am – 6.15pm Night Shift 6.00pm – 6.15am Monday – Friday, on average 40.833 hours per week.
